The No. 14 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning Friday to emerge with an 11-3 victory against Carroll at Blue Wahoos Stadium in Pensacola, Fla.
Five players tallied two hits apiece for the Warhawks (5-2 overall), who totaled 14 hits in the contest.
Hayden Fox (Stockton, Ill./Stockton) pitched six innings, striking out four for his first win of the season.
Cade Berendt (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) tossed two scoreless frames, and
Cam Anfang (Sullivan, Wis./Jefferson) and
Nick Rector (Sewell, N.J./Clearview Regional) combined to pitch the ninth.
Left fielder
Matt Scolan (Downers Grove, Ill./South) registered two hits and two runs scored, while right fielder
Jacob DeMeyer (Harshaw, Wis./Rhinelander) finished with two hits, one run scored and two runs batted in. Second baseman
Sam Vomhof (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) collected two hits and one run scored, and centerfielder
Zach Campbell (Burlington, Wis./Burlington) singled, homered and knocked in two runs.

Bennett Frazer (Hobart, Wis./Oconto) was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI, and first baseman
Nick Paget (New Berlin, Wis./West) plated two runs and scored one run.
Carroll (5-7) took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second before UW-Whitewater cut its deficit in half with one run in the bottom of the third on Paget's sacrifice fly.
Campbell led off the Warhawks' big fourth inning with a game-tying, solo home run, and Frazer gave the team the lead for good with an RBI single. Norton knocked a two-run single, and Campbell capped off the inning he started with a two-out, run-scoring base hit.
UW-Whitewater added two in the bottom of the seventh on a triple by DeMeyer and one in the eighth on a triple by Paget.
The Warhawks continue their Florida trip Monday at 4:30 p.m. against Centre (Ky.).
