The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's basketball team concludes the regular season this Wednesday by hosting No. 3 UW-Oshkosh at 7 p.m. at Kachel Gymnasium.
Wednesday's game, which features two of the top four teams in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference standings, will air live on UWW-TV on channel 100.1 on campus, Spectrum channel 989 for customers in the Whitewater area and online at
uwwtv.org. Fans can also listen to the game on KIX 106.5 FM WKCH in the Whitewater area and online at

The Warhawks (14-9 overall, 7-5 WIAC) enter the week in fourth place in the conference standings. Seeding for the WIAC Tournament, which begins this Friday, will be determined following the conclusion of Wednesday's games.
On Saturday, UW-Whitewater made 30-of-35 from the free-throw line, including 20-of-23 in the second half, on its way to an 81-67 victory at regionally ranked UW-Stout.
Derek Gray (Madison, Wis./La Follette) tied a career high with 36 points and added 10 rebounds and six steals for UW-W, which forced 18 turnovers and held the Blue Devils to 42.6 percent shooting in the contest.
Gage Malensek (Brookfield, Wis./Central) and
Trevon Chislom (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) also finished in double figures scoring with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Three days earlier, the Warhawks picked up their second road win of the season against a top-five ranked opponent, downing No. 5 UW-Platteville 78-75. UW-W hit 9-of-10 from the free-throw line over the final 2:11 of the game and shot 55 percent in the second half to erase a six-point halftime deficit.
Jack Brahm (Bayside, Wis./Glendale Nicolet) tallied 17 points, six rebounds and three assists, Malensek collected 15 points and
Jameer Barker (Racine, Wis./St. Catherine's) registered 14 points.

UW-Oshkosh (19-3, 9-2) has won all four of its games in February, including an 80-77 victory against UW-La Crosse on Saturday in Oshkosh. The Titans shot 53.6 percent from the floor and 52 percent (13-of-25) from 3-point range to hold off the Eagles, who came back from 12 points down midway through the second half to make it a one-possession game with the ball in the final minute of regulation.
Levi Borchert averages a double double with 18.5 points and a league-best 10.5 rebounds per contest while shooting 63.3 percent from the floor for UWO, which leads the conference in scoring margin (plus-14.7 points per game). Eddie Muench (15.3 points per game), Hunter Plamann (13.3 ppg) and Quinn Steckbauer (11.1 ppg) also average double figures in scoring.
UW-Whitewater dealt UW-Oshkosh one of its two league losses back on Jan. 5, posting an 82-78 victory in Oshkosh. Gray finished with 36 points, seven rebounds and four steals to lead UW-W, which led by as many as 20 points in the second half before the Titans rallied to force overtime. Gray put the Warhawks ahead for good with 2:03 left in overtime, and the team converted 9-of-10 from the free-throw line over the final 36 seconds to seal the win.
UW-Oshkosh leads UW-Whitewater in the all-time series by a 101-95 margin.
