Landon Keefover (Antioch, Ill./Antioch) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's track and field team is featured in the latest edition of Getting To Know The Warhawks Presented by UW Credit Union.
 
Keefover is one of five captains for the 2022 Warhawks. He currently leads the team and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in the 60-meter hurdles with his season-best time of 8.34 seconds.
 
In 2021, Keefover led UW-Whitewater in the 110-meter hurdles during the outdoor season with a time of 15.02 seconds. He finished fourth at the WIAC Outdoor Championships in the event. Keefover also posted a career-best time of 23.29 seconds in the 200-meter dash. During the indoor season, he competed in the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles, and recorded a personal record time of 7.27 in the 60 dash.
 
During his second season with the team in 2020, Keefover was named the team's Sophomore of the Year after running his career best time of 8.23 in the 60-meter hurdles. He went on to place fourth in the event at the conference meet and was part of the team's fifth-place 4x400-meter relay.
 
Keefover enjoyed a strong rookie campaign in 2019, establishing personal records in both the 110-meter hurdles (14.94) and the 400-meter hurdles (56.33) during the outdoor season. He placed third in the 110 hurdles to earn honorable mention All-WIAC accolades, finished sixth in both the 400 hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay and went on to be selected All-Midwest Region by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Keefover finished fifth in both the 60-meter hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay at the WIAC Indoor Championships.
 
A 2020-21 member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll, Keefover is majoring in criminology.
