The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team plays its final home game of the regular season this Saturday as it hosts No. 12 UW-La Crosse at Perkins Stadium. Saturday's game is Shriners Day and Military Appreciation Day.
The Warhawks scored 28 first-half points and didn't look back in a 48-6 victory against UW-Eau Claire on Homecoming Saturday at Perkins Stadium. UW-Whitewater totaled 517 yards of offense, including 204 on the ground and 313 through the air, and the defense forced four turnovers and held the Blugolds to 75 yards rushing. UW-W also controlled time of possession, holding the ball for more than 34 minutes in the contest.
The Warhawks remained at No. 3 in the latest D3football.com Top 25, earning 580 points from pollsters without receiving a first-place vote. UW-W is also third in the latest American Football Coaches Association Division III Coaches' Poll, picking up 1,076 points from panelists. The team was ranked second in the Lindy's Sports Preseason Division III Top 25 and fourth in the preseason by College Football America.
UW-La Crosse trailed 3-0 midway through the first quarter before scoring 56 unanswered points in a 56-3 triumph at UW-Stevens Point last Saturday. The Eagles outgained the Pointers 606-185 in total yards and totaled more than 34 minutes of possession, including more than 29 minutes over the final three quarters. Joey Stutzman ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns, and Jakob Parks and Cade Garcia tossed two scores apiece.
MILITARY APPRECIATION
All veterans and active military members will receive free admission for themselves and one guest to this Saturday's game. Please present military ID at the ticket window next to the entrance of Perkins Stadium.
PARKING
The following information was released by UW-Whitewater Police Services in regards to parking:

Saturday, Nov. 6, is the sixth and final regular season home football game for UW-Whitewater and, as a reminder, special event parking restrictions will be in place. All commuter parking lots in the area of Perkins Stadium will be paid parking lots on game day and will open three hours prior to kickoff.
Lot 24 and Lot 11 are reserved parking lots, with specific-space purchase available online until 4 p.m. Friday. Lot 24 is $24 per space and Lot 11 is $12 per space. You can also purchase spaces in these parking lots on game day in person at a cost of $30 per space for Lot 24 and $20 per space for Lot 11.

Lots 7, 9, 4 and 14 are general admission parking lots that allow you to purchase a general pass online prior to Friday at 4 p.m. for $6 per space. You can also purchase these spaces on game day at a cost of $10 per space. These lots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
All yellow permit or resident lots are closed to anyone without a yellow permit on game day, to include Lots 22, 8, 18, 19, 20 and 3.

For those attending a university class, you will not be charged to park in Lot 14 on game day. Please note, there will be heavy traffic around Perkins Stadium as other athletic events will be taking place.

SERIES
The Warhawks lead the all-time series against UW-La Crosse, 37-32, and have won the last 17 games in the series dating back to 2005. On Nov. 2, 2019, UW-Whitewater trailed 17-14 in the fourth quarter before Jarrod Ware put the team ahead for good with a 10-yard touchdown run at the 8:36 mark of the fourth quarter in a 21-17 win. Mark McGrath (Lisle, Ill./Lisle) posted an interception deep in UW-W territory on the Eagles' final drive to help seal the victory.
NOTABLE
UW-Whitewater and UW-La Crosse have combined to win 70 conference championships all time, with the Warhawks claiming 37 and the Eagles earning 33. The winner of Saturday's game will clinch at least a share of the 2021 title and the league's automatic NCAA bid.
