Box Score The No. 8 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team closed out the regular season Saturday afternoon with a 25-16, 25-18, 25-9 victory against Lakeland on Senior Day at Russell Arena.
Prior to the start of the match, the Warhawks recognized seniors

Emily Gillen (Richfield, Wis./Slinger),
Hailey Mackenthun (Webster, Minn./Northfield),
Paige Manssen (Bull Valley, Ill./McHenry West),
Erin McNeil (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge),
KellyAnn Sotiros (New Berlin, Wis./West Allis Hale) and
Morgan Wardall (Merrill, Wis./Merrill) prior to their final home regular season match. The group has led UW-W to a 52-19 record, two NCAA Tournament appearances and the 2019 WIAC regular season championship since the start of the 2018 season.
Jenna Weinfurt (Waukesha, Wis./Catholic Memorial) totaled 12 kills to lead the Warhawks (25-1 overall), who finished the contest with a .225 team hitting percentage, including a .444 clip in the third set.
McNeil collected nine kills and three digs, and Aske posted five kills, seven digs and a team-high four blocks. Gillen and Wardall each recorded three kills and three blocks.
Sotiros tallied 16 assists, three service aces and eight digs, while Manssen accumulated 12 assists and seven digs.
Morgan Jensen (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) led the defense with 27 digs to go with four assists and one service ace.

UW-Whitewater is the No. 2 seed in next week's WIAC Tournament. The team will host a semifinal Thursday at 7 p.m. against the highest remaining seed following Tuesday's first-round matches.
