Four members of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team combined to garner six National Collegiate Gymnastics Association All-America honors for their performances during the regular season.

Seniors Acacia Fossum (Gladstone, N.D./Richardton-Taylor) and Lauren Marshall (Winthrop Harbor, Ill./Zion-Benton Township) were each named All-America for the third time in their careers. Fossum was selected on uneven bars for the first time in her career, while Marshall earned All-America accolades on vault for the third time.

Junior Blaise Wilson (Thornton, Colo./Legacy) claimed All-America status on uneven bars, balance beam and all-around, and is now a two-time All-American on bars. Freshman Karina Sabol (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) picked up her first All-America award on floor exercise.

All four gymnasts helped the Warhawks finish as runner-up at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship/NCGA West Regional and claim the program's 14th consecutive bid to the NCGA Championship. The national meet, which was originally scheduled for this Saturday, was canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Wilson led the nation in all-around season average score with a 38.4563. Fossum's 9.6000 season average score on bars ranked third in the region and tied for seventh in the nation. She posted a career-best 9.750 at Air Force, which ranks among the top 20 in UW-W history, and registered scores of 9.550 or above at four of her last five meets.

Marshall placed second in the region and the nation on vault with her SAS of 9.7438. Her consistent regular season performance included three scores above a 9.700 and seven at or above a 9.600, including a career-best 9.825 on Feb. 29 against UW-La Crosse, which is tied for the No. 3 score in program history. Marshall placed third on vault at the conference/regional meet.

Sabol, the WIAC/NCGA West champion on floor, led the region and finished third in the nation with a 9.7688 season average score.
