The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team recorded its highest score of the 2020 season Saturday afternoon competing against Division I Air Force and UC Davis at USAF Academy, Colo.
The Warhawks' 192.700 is the fourth-highest score on record in school history. The team added a school record score on balance beam on its way to the team performance.

Blaise Wilson (Thornton, Colo./Legacy) registered a career-best 38.825 in the all-around competition to lead UW-Whitewater. The score is the second-best in program history.
The Warhawks started the meet on floor exercise, posting a 48.400, the seventh-highest in school history. Freshman
Karina Sabol (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) led the team and placed third overall with a personal-record 9.775, tied for the 20th-highest performance in school history. Wilson also established a career best with her 9.725, good for sixth overall. Junior
Vanessa Olinger (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) collected a 9.675, good for a tie for seventh overall. Senior
Acacia Fossum (Gladstone, N.D./Richardton-Taylor) tallied a 9.625 to tie for 11th, and freshman
Faith Mylin (Elgin, Ill./Harvest Christian Academy) tied for 13th with a 9.600.

Lauren Marshall (Winthrop Harbor, Ill./Zion-Benton Township) continued her strong season in the event with a career-best 9.775, good for third place. Sophomore
Rachel Lewellen (Ripley, Miss./Ripley) finished eighth with a personal-record 9.675, and Wilson tied for ninth with her career-best 9.650. Sophomore
Emily North (Oklahoma City, Okla./Moore) tied for 13th at 9.500, and Mylin and freshman
Morgan McEntire (Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral) tied for 15th with matching 9.475s, both personal records.
On uneven bars, the Warhawks scored a season-best 47.650, led by a career-high 9.750 from Fossum, which was good for seventh place. Wilson tied for ninth with a season-best 9.675, and North placed 12th with a career-best 9.550. Making her season debut, junior
Jessi Rondeau (Norwood Young America, Minn./Central) scored a personal-record 9.525, good for 13th, and McEntire posted a 9.150, good for 15th.
UW-Whitewater finished the meet on balance beam with a 48.575, besting the previous program record of 48.450 from 2018. Marshall and Wilson tied for seventh with matching 9.775s, tied for the third-highest scores in school history and both career highs. Sabol tied for 10th with a 9.750, a personal record tied for the No. 6 score in the program record book, and North placed 12th with a 9.725, tied for the 18th best in school annals. Mylin tied for 16th with a 9.550, her career best.
The Warhawks head to Winona, Minn., next Saturday, Feb. 22, for a tri-meet against Winona State and Hamline (Minn.). The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m.
