The Warhawks plated two runs in the first on a run-scoring fielder's choice by senior catcher Mike Aiello (Racine, Wis./Horlick) and a wild pitch that scored Aldridge.

UW-Whitewater added a run in the fifth on a leadoff home run by Aldridge, but the Pioneers (9-14, 4-6) responded with a run in the bottom of the seventh to draw within two.

Junior pinch hitter Lucas Price (Spring Green, Wis./River Valley) gave the Warhawks a three-run lead with a base hit, and later came around to score from third on a balk to make it 5-1.
