The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team travels to St. Paul, Minn., this weekend for the NCAA Division III Tournament. They will take on Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Tickets will be sold on site. Tickets each day will cost $6 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, $2 for children age 3-12 and children under three are free.

The Warhawks (14-5-3) last played Illinois Wesleyan (14-5) in 2015 in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. The score was tied at 1-1, forcing the game into overtime. UW-Whitewater found the golden goal in the 95th minute of play, earning a trip to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history.

UW-W enters Saturday's match unbeaten in its last three games, outscoring their opponents 12-2 in that span. They claimed the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title last weekend.

Anna Brodjian (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) is the leading scorer with 12 goals and two assists. Junior midfielder
Anna Boyd (De Pere, Wis./De Pere)Â holds the team-high of eight assists and has also tallied eight goals of her own.

Rounding out the powerful offense are senior
Elli Wahlberg (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles North) and sophomore
Savannah Curtis (Lodi, Wis./Lodi). Curtis has tallied nine goals and four assists and Wahlberg has recorded seven goals and three assists.

Katy Kusswurm (South Elgin, Ill./St. Charles North) leads the defense as a two-year starter. Sophomore

Ally Bosetti (Beloit, Wis./Beloit Turner) and freshman
Megan Kurtz (Wilmette, Ill./Loyola Academy) complete the group. The four lineup in front of senior goalkeeper
Sara Klimisch (Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Indian Trail High School and Academy), who holds a .825 save percentage.

The Warhawks held a record of 2-4-1 through the first seven matches. But beginning in mid-September, the young team came together and registered an 11-match unbeaten streak. This momentum has carried the team to its eighth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last nine years.

Illinois Wesleyan is making their seventh straight and 12th overall NCAA Tournament appearance. This season, the Titans earned the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's automatic bid by defeating Augustana 1-0 in overtime in the conference final.

The Titans are led by Caelyn Steffens who has tallied ten goals and five assists. Cameron Hindel follows closely behind with seven goals and five assists.

The goalkeeping has been somewhat split between Maria Fields and Kelli McCarthy. Fields holds a 10-2 record and a .807 saving percentage while McCarthy has tallied 21 saves in the eight games that she has been the starter.

The Titans have recorded 161 shots on goal compared to their opponents' 87, with an average of 18.1 shots per game.

Last season, Illinois-Wesleyan advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The winner of the UW-Whitewater/Illinois Wesleyan match will advance to the second round of the tournament for a game on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. The team will face the winner of the St. Thomas (12-5-3) vs. Monmouth (14-4-2) game playing on Saturday at 11 a.m.
