GreetFeet to Hold Exclusive Sale of Warhawk Shoes Saturday

GreetFeet, a company founded by a former University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student-athlete, will hold an exclusive sale of Warhawk shoes at this Saturday's football game against UW-River Falls.

As part of the partnership between UW-Whitewater Athletics and GreetFeet, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the athletic department.

GreetFeet CEO Anna Tracy was a member of the Warhawk women's soccer team in 2015 and 2016, helping the team reach the national quarterfinals in 2015 and the third round of the NCAA Tournament in 2016. She won the 2016 UW-Whitewater Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization's Warhawk Business Plan Competition for her shoe design company.

"We are excited to partner with former Warhawk Anna Tracy and GreetFeet," Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Todd Garzarelli said. "Anna is an extremely gifted artist and we believe UW-Whitewater fans will enjoy her unique, creative shoe design. We continue to explore mutually beneficial relationships with progressive, forward-thinking partners, and GreetFeet certainly fits this mold."

Cost of the shoes is $39.95, payable by credit card only. This one-time sale will be available Saturday only starting at 1 p.m. inside Perkins Stadium. No online orders are available to be made at this time.

GreetFeet's mission is to connect fans to their favorite college sports teams while providing a fundraising resource for athletic departments at small and mid-size institutions.

Saturday's game will also be Homecoming and Hall of Fame Day at UW-Whitewater. The final Warhawk Concert Series performance of the 2018 season will begin at 12 p.m. in the Perkins Stadium parking lot and features The Mowgli's, a nationally-renowned alternative rock band.
