The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team completed an undefeated road trip to Western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities area Sunday afternoon with a 186.850-185.175 victory at Hamline in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meet in St. Paul, Minn.
Two days after a season-opening win at UW-Eau Claire, the Warhawks (2-0 overall, 2-0 WIAC) outscored the Pipers in every event and recorded a 48.250 in the floor exercise, the ninth-highest in program history.
Junior Lisa O'Donnell led UW-Whitewater with an all-around score of 38.300, tied for the No. 18 mark in program history. She won three individual events at the meet on scores above a 9.500.
O'Donnell scored a 9.650 to lead the Warhawks and win the uneven parallel bars, where the team finished with a 46.650. Senior
Kate Mierow (Brookfield, WI/Brookfield Central) placed second overall with a 9.600. Senior
Christina Slack (Albrightsville, PA/Jim Thorpe) and junior
Sarah Rhodes (Coon Rapids, Minn./Coon Rapids) tied for fifth with matching tallies of 9.350, and junior
Bailey Fitzpatrick (Burlington, Wis./Burlington) finished 10th with an 8.700.

Lewa Evans (Milwaukee, WI/Whitefish Bay) placed first on vault, scoring a 9.500 to lead the team's total of 47.025. Sophomore
Lauren Marshall (Winthrop Harbor, Ill./Zion-Benton Township) tied for third overall with a 9.425, and freshman
Blaise Wilson (Thornton, Colo./Legacy) registered a 9.400 to place fifth. O'Donnell finished sixth with a 9.375, and junior
Erika Briscoe (Solon, Iowa/Solon) rounded out UW-Whitewater scoring with a 9.325.
O'Donnell led the Warhawks on floor with a 9.725. Evans and sophomore
Acacia Fossum (Gladstone, N.D./Richardton-Taylor) tied for third with matching 9.650s, and Wilson placed sixth with a 9.625. Junior
Franchesca Hutton (Shakopee, Minn./Main Street School of Performing Arts) tied for seventh with a 9.600.
O'Donnell and Mierow finished 1-2 on the balance beam with scores of 9.550 and 9.450, respectively. Hutton placed fifth with an 8.925, Wilson finished eighth with an 8.650 and Evans was 10th with an 8.350. The team totaled a 44.175 on the apparatus.
Wilson joined O'Donnell as an all-around competitor for UW-Whitewater, placing third with a 36.050.
The Warhawks host WIAC foe Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) on Saturday at 4 p.m. on Parents and 10.0 Club Night at Kachel Gymnasium.
