Alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football program are invited to the Warhawks' Football Alumni Day on Saturday, Oct. 7, in Whitewater.
 
A tailgate will be held for all football alumni in the Coulthart Pavilion adjacent to Perkins Stadium starting at 10:30 a.m. until kickoff of the Warhawks' game against UW-Stout at 1 p.m. Cost of the tailgate is free for former football student-athletes and $10 for all other guests. A bus tour of campus will depart from the pavilion at 10:30 a.m. and last approximately 30 minutes.
 
A special recognition will take place at the end of the first quarter for the anniversaries of the 1962 conference championship (55th anniversary), 1967 conference championship (50th), 1987 conference championship (30th), 1997 conference championship (20th) and 2007 conference and national championships (10th). All members of those teams will be invited to the field for recognition.
 
At halftime, all returning football alumni will be recognized by decade on the field.
