Box Score The No. 12 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team wrapped up their weekend trip to Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a 3-1 (25-19, 25-16, 21-25, 25-13) victory over host Coe College Saturday. The Warhawks (3-0) defeated both Grinnell (Iowa) and Westminster (Mo.) 3-0 Friday to open the season.
Junior middle hitter
Amanda Spera (Antioch, Ill./Antioch) led the Warhawks with 14 kills Saturday. Teammates
Sydney Racky (Walworth, Wis./Big Foot) and
Rachel Butterfield (Milton, Wis./Milton) added 11 apiece.
Elizabeth Niestrom (Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South) dished out 44 assists in the four-game match, adding two aces and ten digs.
Junior libero
Brittany Robinson (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) totaled 26 digs while Racky added twelve to pace the Warhawk defense.
Following the conclusion of play, Spera and Robinson were selected to the All-Tournament team.
Courtney Wagner (Dekalb, Ill./Dekalb) was an asset on both offense and defense, tallying eight kills and four blocks.

UW-W returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to No. 21 Elmhurst for a match at 7 p.m. The Warhawks will play their home opener two days later when they host the UW-Whitewater Invite. UW-W plays Lewis and Clark at 3 p.m. and Augustana (Ill.) at 8 p.m. Friday before hosting Luther (Iowa) at 2 p.m. Saturday.
