Despite a windy, rainy couple of days at the 108th edition of the Drake Relays, junior Parker Witt (Appleton, Wis./Appleton North) and the women's 4x400 relay squad of Abbie Felton (Burlington, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran), Enyo Amet (Racine, Wis./Prairie), Leah Richter (Fond du Lac, Wis./Fond du Lac), and Meredith Porter (Hales Corners, Wis./Whitnall) shined brightly for the Warhawks. Witt ran 10.42 and placed fifth in Friday's preliminary round of the 100 meters, qualifying him for Saturday's final and making him the only Division III athlete to advance. His 10.42 again reset his own school record in the event. In Saturday's final, he placed an impressive fifth with a time of 10.63, behind three Division I and one NAIA student-athlete. Witt still owns the No. 1 times in Division III in both the 100 and 200 meters.

On Friday in the preliminaries, the women's 4x400 relay team of Felton, Amet, Richter, and Porter earned the eighth spot for Saturday's Drake Relays College Division final. On Saturday, the relay squad moved up two spots in the final to place sixth in 3:49.58. This time was second among Division III teams and puts them in to the top five of the Division III national qualifying list for the event. The relay is currently second-best in the WIAC, trailing only UW-Eau Claire heading in to next weekend's WIAC outdoor championship meet.

Also on Saturday, both the men's and women's track and field teams hosted the Drake Alternative Meet, held at the Rex Foster Track. There were no team scores kept, but the meet did serve as final chance for the Warhawks to improve times and marks as they head in to next weekend's WIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The No. 16 women at Saturday's Drake Alternative meet were led by freshman Sydney Rossow (West Bend, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran), who won the 100 meter hurdles in 14.97. Her time of 14.86 set in the preliminaries is No. 3 in the WIAC heading in to next weekend's championship meet. Additionally on the track, sophomore Jordan Tokarski (Oconomowoc, Wis./Kettle Moraine) ran a big new career-best 12.72 in the 100 meter dash to place second. This is currently the No. 12 time in the WIAC. Alissa Korslin (Vesper, Wis./Pittsville) placed second in the 200 meter dash in a new career-best time of 26.85. In the field events, the Warhawk women were led by Courtney Pohlman (Janesville, Wis./Craig) and Ana Liska (New Berlin, Wis./West), who placed third and fourth in the pole vault with marks of 11-00.25 (3.36 meters). Additionally, Stringer placed fourth in the shot put with a mark of 39-10.75 (12.16 meters). Stringer is No. 10 in the WIAC in the event.

On the No. 3 men's side, freshman Julio Perez (Watertown, Wis./Kettle Moraine) threw to a massive new career-best of 163-08 (49.90 meters) to win the discus throw, a mark that moves him in to the top ten in Division III and second only to teammate Theron Baumann (Monona Grove, Wis./Monona Grove) in the WIAC. Perez also finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 50-00.50 (15.25 meters). In the hammer throw, senior Levi Perry (East Moline, Ill./United Township) also threw a huge new career-best mark of 183-04 (55.89 meters) to finish third behind two Wisconsin throwers.
