Drake Alternative Meet Results
Despite a windy, rainy couple of days at the 108th edition of the Drake Relays, junior
Parker Witt (Appleton, Wis./Appleton North) and the women's 4x400 relay squad of
Abbie Felton (Burlington, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran),
Enyo Amet (Racine, Wis./Prairie),
Leah Richter (Fond du Lac, Wis./Fond du Lac), and
Meredith Porter (Hales Corners, Wis./Whitnall) shined brightly for the Warhawks. Witt ran 10.42 and placed fifth in Friday's preliminary round of the 100 meters, qualifying him for Saturday's final and making him the only Division III athlete to advance. His 10.42 again reset his own school record in the event. In Saturday's final, he placed an impressive fifth with a time of 10.63, behind three Division I and one NAIA student-athlete. Witt still owns the No. 1 times in Division III in both the 100 and 200 meters.
