The No. 20 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team defeated a pair of teams from Illinois Wednesday in a triangular at Kris Russell Volleyball Arena.
The Warhawks (4-2 overall) swept Dominican 25-15, 25-10, 25-16 to begin the day, then recorded a 26-24, 25-19, 25-15 triumph over No. 17 Elmhurst.
Against Elmhurst (4-2), UW-Whitewater held the Bluejays to a .075 hitting percentage and hit .273 offensively.

Sydney Racky (Walworth, Wis./Big Foot) tallied 12 kills to lead the offense. Freshman outside hitter
Alexandra Bialo (Greendale, Wis./Greendale) contributed eight kills, while junior middle hitter
Courtney Wagner (Dekalb, Ill./Dekalb) finished with seven kills and a team-high six bocks. Senior setter
Staci Hasler (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) racked up five kills, 32 assists and three service aces.

Brittany Robinson (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) and senior defensive specialist
Tessa Weber (Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Tremper) paced the defense with 15 and 11 digs, respectively.
The Warhawks jumped out to a 16-8 lead in the opening set before Elmhurst claimed the next 10 points to take an 18-16 advantage. The Bluejays held the lead until UW-Whitewater tied it at 22-22.
Down 24-23 at set point, the Warhawks won the next three points, including a kill by Bialo and a service ace by Hasler, to claim the first set.
Elmhurst forced an early UW-Whitewater timeout in the second with an 8-4 lead, but the Warhawks recovered to tie it at 11-11.
The two teams traded points before UW-Whitewater posted a 4-0 run on Weber's serve following a 17-17 tie to take control of the frame and a two-set lead.
The Warhawks collected 13 of the first 15 points of the third set, including an 8-0 run on the serve of freshman defensive specialist
Elizabeth Tworek (Lake Zurich, Ill./Carmel Catholic), and didn't look back.
In the match against Dominican (0-4), UW-Whitewater hit .305 offensively and held the Stars to minus-.110.
Wagner led the Warhawks with 12 kills. Senior
Lauren Pfeifer (Fort Atkinson, Wis./Fort Atkinson) totaled eight kills and six digs, and Bialo finished with seven kills. Hasler posted 29 assists and 10 digs.
Robinson led the defense with 11 digs.
UW-Whitewater continues non-conference play this weekend with a two-day trip to California for the Cal Lu Fornia Invitational. The Warhawks begin play Friday against Ohio Wesleyan at 7 p.m. Central Time and at No. 1 ranked Cal Lutheran at 9 p.m.
