A Titan field goal with 10:45 to play in the fourth quarter was the difference in the contest. The Warhawks avenged the setback in the national quarterfinals on Dec. 5, 2015, with a 31-29 win. UW-Whitewater held a 31-16 advantage heading into the fourth quarter, but UW-Oshkosh tallied a pair of touchdowns in the period. The Warhawks held on thanks to a failed 2-point conversion.
