After a high scoring first quarter that ended tied 17-17, the second quarter showed minimal offense. The Warhawks and Pointers combined to score 15 points in the frame. Meinert broke the cold streak by hitting a jumper at the 5:17 mark of the second period.

The Pointers broke things open around the 1:23 mark by going 8-8 from the free-throw line in the final minutes.
