Morningside Football Web PageD3football.comAFCA Division III Top 25The No. 1 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team will face the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' top-ranked team Thursday when it visits Morningside College for a 6 p.m. kickoff in Sioux City, Iowa.
The Warhawks (2-0 overall), who are the top ranked team in NCAA Division III according to D3football.com and the American Football Coaches Association, enter the week with college football's longest win streak at 34 games.
The Mustangs (3-0), the No. 1 team in the NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 poll, have made three straight semifinal appearances in the NAIA National Championship Series, the equivalent to the NCAA Division III Playoffs.
Both teams lead their respective divisions in scoring offense.
Thursday night's game will be broadcast live on
ESPN3/Watch ESPN.
Fans attending the game are invited to park and tailgate on the west side of Elwood Olsen Stadium at the corner of Peters Ave. and S. Rustin St.
