Alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football program are invited to the Warhawks' Football Alumni Weekend on Oct. 2-3 in Whitewater.
The weekend centers around UW-Whitewater's game against UW-Platteville on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. Former head coach Forrest Perkins, who passed away in December, will be recognized with a special tribute prior to kickoff.
All former players in attendance will receive free admission to the game, which marks the 21st annual George Chryst Memorial Bowl. The event is named for former UW-Platteville head coach George Chryst, who died suddenly at the age of 55 in 1992. The winner of the game earns the Miner's Pick, the rivalry trophy.
Other activities scheduled for the weekend include a golf outing Friday, championship team recognitions throughout the weekend and a tailgate prior to Saturday's game. Friday's dinner, which follows the golf outing, is open to all players, families and supporters.

- Between first and second quarters: introduction of championship teams in end zone
