The No. 2 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's basketball team will host UW-Oshkosh Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship final at Kachel Gymnasium.

The top-seeded Warhawks (23-3 overall) advanced to the tournament's championship game with an 82-60 victory over No. 6 seed UW-Eau Claire in a semifinal Thursday at Kachel Gymnasium. UW-Whitewater will make its 10th appearance in the title contest and seeks its fourth WIAC Tournament championship in program history.

The Titans (16-11), seeded fifth, will make their fourth appearance in the championship game and first since 2003. UW-Oshkosh knocked off No. 3 seed UW-River Falls and No. 2 seed UW-Stevens Point en route to Saturday's affair. The Titans erased a 10-point deficit in the second half to upset the fourth-ranked Pointers 50-47 Thursday in Stevens Point.

The winner of Saturday's game will secure the WIAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament, which begins next week. Selections will be announced live Monday on NCAA.com at 11:30 a.m.

Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased prior to tipoff Saturday afternoon. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for students at WIAC schools.

UW-Whitewater students can pick up a free ticket at the intercollegiate athletics office, located in room 112 of the Williams Center, until 4:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
