The Warhawks (20-3 overall, 13-1 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) enter the week one-half game behind UW-Stevens Point, which is idol Wednesday, in the WIAC standings.
With two wins, UW-Whitewater would guarantee itself a share of the regular season conference championship. With one loss, the Warhawks would need the Pointers to lose at UW-Superior Saturday for a piece of the title. If UW-Whitewater drops two this week, it will finish second in the standings.
If both teams win out and share the league championship, a coin flip will determine the No. 1 seed in next week's WIAC Tournament.
In any scenario, the Warhawks will host a semifinal as either the No. 1 or No. 2 seed on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. at Kachel Fieldhouse.
