The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team looks to continue its winning ways this Saturday as it hosts UW-Eau Claire in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest at Perkins Stadium on Homecoming weekend at UW-Whitewater. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.

Saturday's game will be broadcast live locally by UWW-TV on campus channel 100.1 and on Charter channel 989 in high definition. The game can also be viewed online.

The contest can be heard locally on KOOL 106.5 WKCH-FM with pregame coverage starting at 12:40 p.m. The broadcast will also be available online.

The Warhawks (6-1 overall, 3-1 WIAC) are coming off a 35-27 victory last Saturday at UW-Stevens Point. UW-Whitewater tallied 21 points in the first 17 minutes of action and withstood a fourth-quarter rally by the Pointers to pick up its second straight win.

UW-Eau Claire (0-7, 0-4) was stopped on fourth down in the final minute last Saturday in a 27-25 setback at UW-La Crosse. The Blugolds rolled up 488 yards of total offense, including 365 rushing yards, but were forced to attempt six field goals, making four of them.

Saturday's game is the 67th meeting all time between the two teams. UW-Whitewater leads the series, 44-22, and has won the last 13 match-ups.

The Warhawks are 66-24-1 in program history in Homecoming games.
