The No. 9 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater continued one of its longest win streaks in school history Saturday with two more victories on the second and final day of the Dig Panici Classic at Russell Arena.

The Warhawks (26-3 overall) now own 16 straight wins after finishing the weekend with a 4-0 mark.

UW-Whitewater downed Loras (Iowa) 26-24, 25-16, 30-28 and ended the tournament with a 25-17, 25-19, 25-15 triumph over Wartburg (Iowa).

Following the conclusion of play, junior setter Staci Hasler (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) and junior outside hitter Lauren Pfeifer (Fort Atkinson, Wis./Fort Atkinson) were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Pfeifer recorded 20 kills and 12 digs to lead the Warhawks over Loras (19-12), which finished 3-1 for the weekend.

UW-Whitewater's win over Loras was also the 400th career victory for head coach Stacy Boudreau. She achieved her 300th career win at UW-Whitewater last season.

Sophomore outside hitter Sydney Racky (Walworth, Wis./Big Foot) posted 11 kills, and sophomore middle hitter Courtney Wagner (Dekalb, Ill./Dekalb) registered six kills, four digs and a team-high three blocks. Senior right side hitter Brittney Langley (Winnebago, Ill./Winnebago) added seven kills and Hasler tallied five kills, nine digs and 37 assists.

Freshman defensive specialist Brittany Robinson (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) paced the defense with 18 digs and four assists. Senior defensive specialist Jaclyn Krizka (Roscoe, Ill./Hononegah) contributed 10 digs and four assists.

Neither team led by more than three points in a back-and-forth opening set. UW-Whitewater fought through a set point and claimed the final three points of the period to take a 1-0 advantage.

The Warhawks made an early run on Krizka's serve, and back-to-back kills by Wagner made the score 10-2. The team extended its lead to 18-6 and held off the Duhawks to move ahead 2-0 in the match.

UW-Whitewater warded off three set points in the third before Loras thwarted a pair of the Warhawks' set points. With the set tied at 28-28, Pfeifer posted a kill and Langley and Wagner combined on a block to end the contest.

Against Wartburg (25-5), UW-Whitewater held the Knights to a .010 hitting percentage, including negative marks in the first and third sets. The Warhawks trailed early in the third before retaking control of the contest midway through the set.

Pfeifer compiled 15 kills, seven digs and three blocks, while Racky finished with 11 kills and three blocks. Wagner recorded seven kills and a team-best five blocks, and Hasler collected with five kills, six digs and 33 assists.

Robinson and junior defensive specialist Tessa Weber (Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Tremper) totaled 13 digs apiece. Krizka finished with nine digs and three assists.

UW-Whitewater resumes Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Wednesday at UW-La Crosse at 7 p.m. The Warhawks are currently tied for the top spot in the league with both UW-La Crosse and UW-Oshkosh.
