Box Score 2 STEVENS POINT, Wis. - The #20 UW-Whitewater volleyball team swept St. Norbert College 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-8) for their second sweep of the day in the UW-Stevens Point Invite. The Warhawks topped Ripon in the invite opener 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-14).
UW-Whitewater held the momentum from its first match of the day cruising on offense to an attack percentage of .338 with 32 kills in the match. The Warhawk defense hald the Green Knights to a -.100 hitting percentage in the contest and registered nine total blocks including two solo and 14 assisted.
Senior middle blocker
Kristen Ruchti (Brodhead/Brodhead) led the offense with eight kills in 10 attemps with no errors, an attack percentage of .800. She added a solo block and two assist blocks on defense. Ruchti's counterpart in the middle, sophomore
Sydney Toon (Madison/Middleton), added to her day defensively at the net with five assist blocks bringing her two-match total to 10 for the day.
Senior setter
Kim Frei (West Bend/West Bend West) dished out 27 assists while sophomore defensive specialist posted a season high seven aces at the service line.Â
Senior libero
Kelsey Nobilio (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg) posted 12 digs inching one step closer to breaking the program record for career matches with double figure digs. Her 101 matches with 10 or more digs for UW-Whitewater is just one shy of the record.Â
The Warhawks will wrap-up play in the UW-Stevens Point Invite Saturday at 10 a.m. against Wisconsin Lutheran College.

The Warhawks are schedule to face St. Norbert College at 5 p.m. Friday evening.
UW-Whitewater's offense was on fire pounding down 14 or more kills in each set to total 44 kills in 86 attempts while committing just 14 errors, an attack percentage of .349. The Warhawk defense held the Red Hawks to an attack line of 18-15-83, a percentage of just .036, and did not allow more than eight kills in a single set.Â

Brittney Langley (Winnebago, IL/Winnebago) and sophomore
Sydney Toon (Madison/Middleton) led UW-Whitewater at the net. The two Warhawks combined for 16 kills in 26 attempts without an error, an attack percentage of .615. Defensively, the duo paired for nine of the team's 18 assist blocks in the match and Langley added a pair of aces to her totals.Â
