Box Score 2 ATLANTA, Ga. - The UW-Whitewater volleyball team, ranked 21st in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, used their best offensive output of the Emory Invitational to sweep Birmingham-Southern 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-11) in their final match of the tournament.
Offensively, the Warhawks pounded down 40 kills and held BSC to just 21 in the three-setter. Senior middle blocker

Kelsey Nobilio (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg) registered 16 digs to lead UW-Whitewater defensively.
The Warhawks went 2-2 in the invitational with a 3-0 win over Randolph-Macon in the opener and a loss to 4th ranked Emory Friday followed by a tough five-set loss to Bowdoin and the BSC sweep Saturday afternoon.

Bowdoin RecapATLANTA, Ga. - The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team dropped to 8-4 this season after a five set loss to Bowdoin (25-21, 23-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-11) Saturday afternoon on the campus of Emory University.
The Warhawks outhit the Polar Bears 59-55 in kills but BC was more effecient at the net hitting .201 compared to UW-Whitewater's .139. Defensively, the Warhawks posted one of their best matches at the net tying for their season best with 12.0 total team blocks.Â
Sophomore outside hitter
Lauren Pfeifer (Fort Atkinson/Fort Atkinson) led the Warhawks at the net with 15 kills hitting .314 in the match and added 14 digs for her second straight double-double and posted six assist blocks. Junior right side
Brittney Langley (Winnebago, IL/Winnebago) and junior outside
Jessica Sabey (Merrill/Merrill) notched their second consecutive games with 10 or more kills with 13 and 12 respectively. Langley added two service aces in the contest.

Kelsey Nobilio (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg) recorded 22 digs and was joined in double figures by Pfeifer and sophomore defensive specialist
