University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football coach Lance Leipold became the fastest coach to reach 100 career wins in NCAA history Saturday, and his achievement earned coverage all over the college football landscape following the Warhawks' 52-3 victory at UW-Eau Claire.
 
Leipold's milestone continues to get national attention. On Monday, the eighth-year UW-Whitewater coach will be interviewed live on Lucas and Dawson at 7:30 a.m. on The Big 1070 AM in Madison and The Big 920 AM in Milwaukee, and later on The Tim Brando Show at 11:30 a.m. on SiriusXM's College Sports Nation, channel 91.
 
Following the Warhawks' 23rd consecutive win – tied for the nation's second longest streak in all divisions – ESPN and the NFL's College Football 24/7 featured Leipold's achievement on their respective Web sites. Ralph Russo, a national college football writer for the Associated Press, and Reddit College Football were among several others to who noted the milestone on social media.
 
UW-Whitewater, ranked No. 1 in the nation by D3football.com and the American Football Coaches Association, return to action against UW-Oshkosh at 1 p.m. on Homecoming Saturday at Perkins Stadium.
