Box Score 2 The Warhawks came back from a seven point deficit, 22-15, in set three scoring 15 of the final 18 points for the sweep of Concordia-Wisconsin 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 27-25). UW-W topped North Central earlier in the afternoon, 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-21) and are now 5-3 this season. North Central and Concordia faced-off in the first match of the triangular with the Cardinals coming out on top 3-0.

Kristen Ruchti (Brodhead/Brodhead) pounded down four kills and assisted
Ariel Feiertag (Brown Deer/Brown Deer) in the late set surge to give UW-W the win. Ruchti hit .500 in the match with 11 kills and added four assist blocks. The Warhawk defense kept the CUW hitters from gaining momentum with nine total blocks to the Falcons' two.
Lauren Pfeifer (Fort Atkinson/Fort Atkinson) and
Jaclyn Krizka (Roscoe, IL/Hononegah) notched double figure digs with 11 and 10 respectively.
Staci Hasler (Sheboygan Falls/Sheboygan Falls) posted 33 assists in the contest.
North Central Recap
The thirteenth ranked UW-Whitewater volleyball team swept North Central College 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-21) in the second match of a triangular Friday afternoon in Whitewater. North Central topped CUW 3-0 in the first match of the afternoon.
Jessica Sabey (Merrill/Merrill) led all hitters with 10 kills as the Warhawks pounded down 34 in the match, 14 more than NCC. The biggest advantage for UW-W came at the net defensively.
Alivia Holman (South Beloit, IL/Rockton Hononegah) totaled nine blocks and
Ariel Feiertag (Brown Deer/Brown Deer) contributed six to the teams 14 total blocks (five solo, 18 assisted). North Central had four blocks as a team.
Kelsey Nobilio (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg) led the Warhawks with 13 digs and
Staci Hasler (Sheboygan Falls/Sheboygan Falls) dished out 28 assists.
UW-W will head to Waukesha Wednesday, September 11 for a triangular hosted by Carroll University. The Warhawks have Carroll on the docket first at 3:00 and follow with a 5:00 match against Carthage.
