The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's basketball team will travel to
Lisle, Illinois for a NCAA III championship tournament second round game against
North Central College Saturday, March 9 at 7:00. North Central will be the home team, although the game is being played at the
Benedictine Center at Benedictine University because North Central's facilities will be tied up for the NCAA III Indoor Track and Field Championship.

UW-W Tickets: The UW-Whitewater Athletic Department will have tickets for the UW-W vs. North Central game available beginning Tuesday at 1:00. Fans interested in purchasing tickets should call the Athletic Department at 262-472-4661. All fans purchasing tickets must pay for and pick up their tickets from the Athletic Department before 4:30 Friday afternoon. Adult tickets are $6.
UW-W Student Tickets: Free student tickets will be available for pick up in the UW-W Athletic Department Office.
Fan Bus: DLK Enterprises is sponsoring a fan bus to travel to the men's game. The bus will load at Perkins Stadium at 2:30 and is scheduled to depart at 3:00* Saturday. Fans planning to ride the fan bus are encouraged to arrive at Perkins Stadium promptly at 2:30 as a form must be filled out prior to departure. Please note that this is a drug and alcohol free bus, open intoxicants will not be allowed.

Pre-game Social: A pre-game social will be held at
Bono's Pub and Beer Garden in Lisle, Illinois from 5:00-6:30. The pub is located approximately 1.5 miles from Benedictine University. Free beer will be available for the duration of the event with food served at 5:30 free of charge.

UW-W, 24-4, is ranked fifth in
the D3hoops.com poll. The Warhawks opened NCAA III tournament play with a
58-42 home court win over the University of Dubuque. Whitewater earned its NCAA berth by
winning the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament, defeating
UW-Stout in a semifinal and
UW-Platteville in the title game. The Warhawks finished
second in the WIAC regular season standings, and three of the team's four losses came in league play.
North Central, 25-3, is number three in
the D3hoops.com poll. The Cardinals
defeated Centre College (KY) 66-50 Saturday in their NCAA III tourney first round game. NCC qualified for the NCAA tourney by winning
the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament, 70-63 over Augustana College. North Central finished second in
the league's regular season standings, with all three of the team's losses coming in CCIW play.
Tickets will be $6 for adults and $3 for senior citizens, students and children. Children under two years of age will be admitted free of charge.
