Box Score The UW-Whitewater women's volleyball team swept UW-Platteville 3-0 (29-27, 25-14, 26-24) in the final game of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season Wednesday in Whitewater. The Warhawks will wrap up the regular season with two non-conference matches in the Wheaton Triangular Saturday before beginning play in the WIAC Championship. UW-W secured the #3 seed in the league tournament with Wednesday's win. The Warhawks will host the sixth seed, UW-Platteville Tuesday at 7:00 in Whitewater.
Whitewater pounded down 21 kills in the first set alone and ended the match with 56, 17 more than the Pioneers. The Warhawk cruised in the second set hitting a .571 with 18 kills and just two errors. Both teams struggled offensively but UW-W posted 17 kills compared to Platteville's 10 for the win.Â

Brittney Langley (Winnebago, IL/Winnebago) and
Staci Hasler (Sheboygan Falls/Sheboygan Falls) shared match high honors with 14 a piece, each hitting over .370 in the match.
Lauren Pfeifer (Fort Atkinson/Fort Atkinson) pounded down 11 kills hitting a .375 and
Alivia Holman (South Beloit, IL/Rockton Hononegah) hit .500 with 10 kills in the contest.
Kim Frei (West Bend/West Bend West) dished out 46 assists in the three set match. Libero
Kelsey Nobilio (Johnsburg, IL/Johnsburg) notched her 90th career match with double figure digs with 16.Â
The Warhawks will travel to Wheaton, Illinois for the Wheaton Triangular Saturday, November 2. UW-W will face Augustana at 12:00 and Wheaton at 2:00.
