Junior Siri Wischmann (Delano, MN/Delano) earned WIAC Gymnastics Specialist of the Week honors for her performance against Gustavus Adolphus College February 25, 2012.

Against Gustavus, she achieved two personal highs and won one event. On the balance beam, she scored a 9.5 for first place. In the vault, she scored 9.525, good for second place. She also placed sixth in the floor exercise, recording a 9.4. Whitewater, in the final regular season competition for the year, topped Gustavus 184.100-174.925.

Wischmann has been a huge part of Whitewater's success this year. She has been suffering from a wrist injury that has limited her training but she continues to push forward for the team and has done so in three events all season.

Whitewater heads to Eau Claire, Wisconsin Saturday, March 3 for the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association West Regional/Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meet hosted by UW-Eau Claire with a 4:00 pm scheduled start time.
