Chris Davis (Madison/East) was named UW-Whitewater men's basketball Athlete of the Week after leading the Warhwaks past the UW-Platteville Pioneers 65-62 January 19 at Kachel Gym in the Williams Center in Whitewater. With the help of Davis' game-high 20 points, Whitewater overcame a seven-point second half deficit.  He also had a team-high eight rebounds and tied for the team lead with four assists. He hit a jumper that put the Warhawks ahead for good with just 0:39 left in the game. 

Whitewater hosts UW-Stevens Point Wednesday, January 26 with tipoff at 7:00 p.m.
