The defenses had the upper hand in the early going, without a goal scored for the first thirty-plus minutes.  It wasn't until the tenth shot of the game, and the seventh for the Titans, that Tillie Bill scored with an assist from Kelsey Porter to put IWU on the board at 33:16.  At 41:12 Hannah Ketterling made it 2-0 off a pass from Annie O'Brien.

At 79:47 UW-W's Kelsey Finn (Glendale/Nicolet) was tripped in the box resulting in a penalty shot.  Finn put it in to net the first Warhawk score of the 2010 season.  Finn's goal turned out to be Whitewater's last shot of the game.

IWU led in shots 20-6.  IWU was charged with nine fouls to seven for UW-W, and both teams had two corner kicks.

UW-W will host Clarke College (IA) Sunday at 5:00.
