Junior middle distance runner Aron Kehoe (Monroe/Monroe) and senior thrower Shaun Davis (Edgerton/Edgerton) have been named the UW-Whitewater men's track and field athletes of the week for their performances at the Augustana Meet of Champions in Rock Island, IL.

Kehoe placed second in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:51.48. His time is the third fasted in the nation this year to date. His time provisionally qualified him for the national meet. Kehoe was the national champion in the 800 meter run indoors this year.

Davis won the discus with a national automatic qualifing mark of 54.08 meters. This is the best throw in the nation this year by over a full meter. Davis finished second at the national meet in the discus throw last year.
