Whitewater grabbed the lead first after Gerber scored her sixth goal of the season at 32:16 off an assist from
Kayla Miller (Racine/Case).
Christina Tooren (Hoffman Estates, IL/Hoffman Estates) netted her team-leading 13th goal from a pass by

She then completed her hat trick at 81:57 after
Jessica Allemang (Wauwatosa/West) dished out an assist.
UW-RF scored the final goal of the game at 89:32 when Bunting recorded her second goal, courtesy of an assist from Janae Baron.
Gerber's three goals give her 42 during her career as a Warhawk, placing her second on the UW-W all-time list. She trails only Wendy Scott, who racked up 45 goals during her tenure at Whitewater.
The Warhawks are now 7-6 overall (4-1 WIAC), while River Falls is 9-6 (4-3 WIAC). UW-W will travel to Eau Claire on Saturday, October 23 for a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup. The Warhawks will take on the Blugolds at 2 p.m.
