Freshman #C.J. Miller and senior (Hartland/Hartland Arrowhead)Shaun Davis# earned UW-Whitewater Men's Track and Field athletes of the week at the Warhawk Opener last Friday in the Kachel Fieldhouse.

Miller won the 55 meter dash in a season best and collegiate personal record of 6.55. Miller also took second place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.83.

Davis won the 35lb weight throw with a provisional qualifying distance of 16.88 meters which is currently the tenth best mark in the nation. Davis was also seventh in the shot put with a throwing distance of 12.90 meters.

The Warhawks next meet will be the UW-Whitewater Invitational Saturday, January 23 in the Kachel Fieldhouse starting at 10:30 a.m.
