10th-ranked UW-Whitewater defeated UW-La Crosse 3-0 (25-19, 25-10, 25-13) Wednesday evening in the William's Center Volleyball Arena in Whitewater, WI.

Caitlin Hogan (New London/New London) led the Warhawks, and the game, with 10 kills and a .476 hitting percentage. Keri Klotzbuecher (Clintonville/Clintonville) contributed 13 digs and three service aces. Alyse Karls (Dane/Lodi) had 26 assists for the Warhawks and Alyssa Bauer (Naperville, IL/Central) chipped in with a match high 17 digs. 

Breianne Stankus and Melannie Tate had 15 digs a piece for the Eagles Melany Vanden Langenberg had three service aces for UW-L.

UW-W hit .216 in the match and UW-L hit .067

The win, Whitewater's 5th consecutive, raises the Warhawks record to 14-4 overall and 2-2 in the Wisconsin Collegiate Athletic Conference. UW-La Crosse is 4-13 and 1-3.

The Warhawks will host UW-Platteville at 7:00 Tuesday, October 6.
