UW-Whitewater, ranked seventeenth according to the American Volleyball Coaches Association top 25 poll, defeated Ohio Northern, who is ranked fourth, 3-2 (25-18, 16-25, 20-25, 25-15, 15-11) in the Asics Invitational hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Alyse Karls (Dane/Lodi) helped with 14 digs as
Kelli Trautmann (Seymour/Little Chute) and Klotzbuecher added 11 a piece. Karls also dished out 45 assists.
The win adds to UW-W's overall record making them 8-1 as they are currently on a 3 match win streak. Ohio Northern drops their first match of the season and are now 8-1 overall.
The Warhawks are scheduled for a 3:00 pm match this afternoon, Saturday, September 12, against eighth ranked Washington University for their last match at the Asics Invitational in St. Louis.
