Midland Lutheran College had one third of their offensive plays in their first drive (which netted just 12 yards), but that was the most the Warrior offense was seen for the rest of the day. UW-W scored 27 points in the first quarter and 48 by halftime.

Box Score
Given the score no one would have guessed that All-American
Levell Coppage (Oak Park, IL/Oak Park) was not the first Warhawk back this year to gain 100 yards. Neither was
Antwan Anderson (Madison/Madison Memorial), a 1,000 yard rusher last year. #C.J. Miller#, who rushed twice for four yards, led the Warhawks with 129 yards on19 carries. Maybe it sheds some light on a line that has been producing 1,000 yard rushers.
Quarterback
Jeff Donovan (Wauwatosa/East) had one of his shortest stints as a starter, playing less than a half and completing 10-13 passes for 172 yards and five touchdowns. The TD mark ties the UW-W game record, also held by three other quarterbacks (including Justin Jacobs four times).
Placekicker
Jeff Schebler (Davenport, IA/Assumption) had one field goal, (40) and seven extra points, giving him 355 career points, second on the all-time Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference list. Former UW-W tailback and placekicker Chad Wurth owns the record with 366 points (2000-2003).
The Warhawk defense, again giving everyone valuable playing experience, forced four turnovers and limited Midland to 92 yards on 44 plays.
UW-W, 2-0, is ranked second in the d3football.com poll. MLC is 1-1.
