The UW-Whitewater volleyball team improved to 6-1 this season with a 3-1 (22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-14) victory over Pacific Lutheran at the Washington University National Invitational on Friday in St. Louis, Missouri. The loss drops Pacific Lutheran to 4-2.
Caitlin Hogan (New London/New London) and
Melissa Zuleger (Little Chute/Little Chute) led UW-W with 11 kills apiece, with
Alyse Karls (Dane/Lodi) dishing out 37 assists and Kari Klotzbuecher credited with 13 digs. Zuleger also contributed seven blocks.
The Warhawks will play again on Friday in St. Louis against Concordia College out of Moorehead, Minnesota.
