The UW-Whitewater men's soccer team fell to Illinois Wesleyan University 3-0 on Thursday in Bloomington, Illinois.  The Warhawks fall to 1-2-0 while the Titans got their first win of the season and are now 1-1-2.

The Titans got on the scoreboard in the 26th minute on a goal by Kyle Gorgol assisted by Robert Tabaka and Tim Griffin.  They added to the lead in the 82nd minute and scored their final goal in the 88th minute.

Matt Gehn (Oregon/Oregon) fired three shots and Zach Rewasiewicz (South Milwaukee/South Milwaukee) attempted two but neither were able to tighten the match.

The Warhawks were outshot 11-2 in the second period and 15-9 in the game.

There were 14 fouls whistled in the game, 9 against UW-W.

The Warhawks are off until Saturday, September 12 when they host UW-Superior to open conference play at 3:00 pm.
