The UW-Whitewater women's soccer team traveled to Bloomington, Illinois on Thursday to play the #10 ranked Illinois Wesleyan Titans and lost 1-0. The Warhawks fall to 1-2-0 and the Titans improve to 2-0-2.

The lone goal of the game happened in just the sixth minute. IWU was awarded a corner kick that was taken by Carlie Hoekstra. Hoekstra centered the ball and Annmarie Dolak headed it into the goal.
The Titans outshot the Warhawks 11-6 in the game and 8-2 in the second half.
The Warhawks last attempted shot was in the 81st minute when
Becky Cera (Wauwatosa/Wauwatosa West) tried for the equalizer.
UW-W is off until Saturday when they host UW-Superior at Robert W. Fiskum field in a game scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm.
