UW-Whitewater lost to UW-River Falls 1-0 Saturday afternoon in River Falls, WI.

Although Whitewater out shot River Falls 20-9, including holding the Falcons without a shot in the first half, the Falcons netted the only goal of the game at 82:45. Eryn Lansverk scored her ninth goal of the season assisted by Erin Genin for the game's only score.

Whitewater also had a 15-2 margin in corner kicks and River Falls' Rachel Thompson withstood the Warhawk pressure with 10 saves.

Whitewater is now 6-5 on the season and 2-2 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. UWRF is 6-4 overall and 3-3 in league play. Whitewater will host Findlandia University Friday, October 9th at 5:00 pm, and UW-Eau Claire Saturday the 10th at 5:00 pm at Robert W. Fiskum Field on the UW-Whitewater campus.
