Kyle Jacobo

Kyle Jacobo wrapped up his second season as an assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team in 2015. He worked with the tight ends in 2014 and the wide receivers in 2015.

Under Jacobo's tutelage in 2015, wide receiver Marcus Hudson enjoyed a breakout season, earning first team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and third team D3football.com All-West Region accolades after leading the team with 54 receptions for 942 yards and nine touchdowns. Wide receiver Joe Worth was an honorable mention all-conference selection.

In 2014, Jacobo coached tight end Derric Junakin, who was selected second team All-WIAC for the Warhawks, who won their ninth conference championship in 10 seasons and sixth national championship in eight years. The tight ends helped UW-Whitewater finish as the league's top rushing offense with 218.2 yards per contest.

Jacobo joined the Warhawks after a two-year stint as a graduate assistant at Northern Arizona University, where he worked with the wide receivers. Jacobo worked in several areas at Northern Arizona, including practice planning, scouting and breakdown of opponents, film evaluation and recruiting.

Prior to Northern Arizona, Jacobo held assistant coaching positions at the University of Mary (N.D.) and Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Ariz. At Mary, he also served as assistant video coordinator and recruited student-athletes in Colorado and Wyoming.

Jacobo was a four-year letter winner at wide receiver in football at the University of Wyoming, where he graduated from in 2009 with a bachelor's in social science. He served as a student assistant coach the following spring before moving on to Red Mountain High School.

A member of the American Football Coaches Association, Jacobo earned his master's in educational leadership from Northern Arizona in December 2013.
