Michaela Matthys, Sophomore
Matthys was the Warhawks' top finisher in three different events Saturday at the nine-team All-Wisconsin Showcase at Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer. In the 100-yard butterfly, she was the top Division III finisher and the lone athlete among the top 12 of the event from a Division III institution, placing fourth overall. She finished second among Division III competitors and 14th overall in the 100-yard backstroke, and was third among Division III participants and 12th overall in the 50-yard freestyle. Matthys also helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team place seventh (second among Division III) and the 200-yard medley relay finish fifth (first among Division III).
