Margaret Lotzer (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove), Senior
Lotzer won both the 500- and 1000-yard freestyle races Saturday in the Warhawks' WIAC dual meet at UW-Eau Claire. She was first to touch the wall in the 500 by nearly nine seconds with a time of 5:24.51, and claimed first in the 1000 by almost 14 seconds with a result of 11:07.56. Lotzer also helped one of UW-Whitewater's 200-yard freestyle relay teams finish third with a mark of 1:46.42. She currently owns the conference's top times in both the 500- and 1000-yard freestyle events according to CollegeSwimming.com.
