Celeste Madda (Crystal Lake, Ill./Central), Sophomore
Madda swept the 60- and 200-meter dash events with top 10 times in NCAA Division III Saturday at the season-opening Karl Schlender Invitational in Whitewater. She claimed the 60 in a career-best 7.87 seconds, good for first in the WIAC and fourth in the nation, and won the 200 with a mark of 25.94 seconds, good for second in the conference and a tie for sixth in the country.
