Van Schyndel recorded a team-high 17 points, including 15 in the second half and the go-ahead layup with 3.3 seconds left to help the No. 25 Warhawks to a 68-66 victory over UW-Platteville on Saturday at Kachel Gymnasium. He shot 5-of-7 from the field and 7-of-9 at the free-throw line to help UW-Whitewater erase a seven-point deficit in the second half. Van Schyndel also registered nine points and three rebounds at then-No. 7 UW-River Falls on Wednesday night. For the week, he averaged 13.0 points per game and shot 8-of-10 (80 percent) from the floor and 10-of-12 (83.3 percent) at the free-throw line.
