Zac Denny (Machesney Park, Ill./Harlem), Senior, 125 Pounds
Denny posted a 2-2 record competing against some of the best college wrestlers in the nation last Thursday at the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. He knocked off ninth-seeded Anthony Rubinetti of Northwester by decision and later knocked off Dalton Duffielf, an unattached wrestler from Oklahoma, by sudden victory. Denny's lone losses on the day came against Division III No. 1 and eighth-seeded Lucas Malmberg of Messiah (Pa.) and Johnny Jimenez of Wisconsin. Denny is currently the nation's consensus No. 2 wrestler at 125 pounds and enters the week with an 11-3 record.
