Smith led UW-Whitewater with 16.7 points per game and added 5.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.2 percent from the floor and 12-of-16 at the free-throw line to help the No. 21 Warhawks to a 2-1 record from Dec. 19-Jan. 1. On Dec. 20 at then-undefeated Augustana (Ill.), she totaled a career-high 26 points on 10-of-19 shooting to go along with four rebounds and two steals. Nine days later against Case Western Reserve (Ohio), Smith posted 10 points, eight rebounds and two steals in UW-Whitewater's 71-54 triumph. She registered 14 points, five rebounds and three steals to help the team defeat Capital (Ohio) 72-58 and win the Marriott-Columbus Airport Holiday Tournament.
