Co-Defensive Player of the Week
Matt Seitz (Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead), Junior, Linebacker
Seitz posted eight tackles, including two for a loss, and broke up a pass during the second-ranked Warhawks' 31-17 victory over NAIA No. 2 Morningside (Iowa) on Saturday at Perkins Stadium. He downed Mustangs running back Tyler Kavan for a three-yard loss on second down during a drive in the third quarter to help force an eventual punt, and continued his strong play against the run later in the contest by holding Kavan to no gain on first down. Seitz's pass breakup on second down in the first quarter helped set up a third-and-long situation, when Bennett Young (Madison/Edgewood) posted an interception.
